A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This role involves providing remote speech therapy to students across various grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12).
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telespeech therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Assessing speech and language development and progress through virtual platforms
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop effective communication strategies
- Maintaining detailed documentation and reports on student performance
- Adapting therapy approaches to suit a remote learning environment
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in telespeech or telepractice formats
- Familiarity with developmental speech and language issues across elementary to high school levels
- Strong communication and organizational abilities for managing caseloads remotely
- Comfort with technology used for virtual therapy sessions and documentation
