A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This position involves working with students across a range of grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12). The role offers the chance to provide teletherapy services, supporting speech and language development remotely while maintaining strong communication with educators and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through high school.
- Delivering virtual therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language goals within academic plans.
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Adapting therapy techniques to meet diverse communication challenges through telepractice.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
- Proficiency in delivering telespeech or teletherapy services.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in school-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families.
