A reputable contract opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists skilled in telespeech and teletherapy services. This role supports students in a school setting within Laurel, MD, focusing on virtual school-based therapy sessions aligned with the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy sessions to students ranging from elementary to middle school ages.
- Manage caseloads with flexibility, starting with fewer students and potentially increasing up to 57 at peak periods.
- Collaborate with supervisors to tailor assignments based on individual expertise and geographic location.
- Ensure compliance with all credentialing and background check requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active Maryland Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Minimum of three years of virtual school-based SLP experience post-COVID.
- Strong proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, adhering to established schedules.
- Location must align with the Eastern Standard Time zone for service delivery.
- Submission of resume, license images, and professional references is required.
Additional Details:
- Contract position beginning August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
- Caseload management tailored to abilities and comfort levels, with maximum student limits depending on grade level.
- Time-sensitive background check clearance required under House Bill regulations.
