An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This contract position supports students ranging from kindergarten through high school, including elementary, middle, and high school grades 6-12.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing remote speech therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders using telespeech technology
- Collaborating with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Documenting student progress and maintaining detailed records in compliance with educational guidelines
- Utilizing specialized strategies to engage students across various grade levels in a virtual environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering telespeech therapy within school settings
- Familiarity with educational speech therapy requirements for grades K-12
- Strong communication and technology skills to effectively conduct virtual sessions
- Ability to manage caseloads and provide thorough reporting
