A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity specializing in virtual teletherapy is available within a K-12 public education setting in West Palm Beach, FL. This contract position serves students across multiple schools throughout the county, delivering speech-language services to diverse populations including regular education, PreK, ASD, DHH, and other specialized groups. Assignments and caseloads vary by location, offering exposure to a broad age range of learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy and virtual speech-language pathology services adhering to school-based policies and guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain compliance with documentation, progress tracking, and credentialing requirements.
- Participate in assessments and provide consultation as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license from the Department of Health.
- Previous experience in teletherapy and school-based speech-language pathology services.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance and fulfill district credentialing processes.
- Not accepting Clinical Fellows or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants for this role.
Work Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time (35 hours per week; 7 hours per day).
- Contract duration: As soon as possible through May 29, 2026.
- Multiple school locations available throughout the district; assignments vary.
This role offers the chance to support students virtually while complying with essential state and district credentialing. The position emphasizes teletherapy with potential for VOCO (voice-controlled) service options.
