A contracted speech-language pathologist opportunity is available in Kingfield, ME, servicing a school environment. This full-time or part-time position involves providing teletherapy and onsite services to students, with flexibility in work hours to accommodate caseload demands. The role appeals to candidates holding an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is suitable for those in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as certified speech-language pathology assistants (SLPA) with healthcare or school experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services using teletherapy and onsite methods.
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Provide supervision or receive supervision according to credentialing status.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to district initiatives aimed at enhancing student outcomes.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Maine SLP license or relevant certification.
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare speech-language pathology settings.
- Proficiency in teletherapy technologies and remote service delivery.
- Knowledge of school caseload or workload models and IEP systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with educators and healthcare professionals.
