Job Description
A teletherapy role offering speech-language pathology services to students across various age groups in a school setting. This full-time contract position requires a commitment to virtual school-based therapy, providing support via telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote speech-language pathology assessments and interventions for elementary through middle school students.
- Manage caseloads effectively, with elementary caseloads up to 40 students and middle school caseloads reaching up to 57 during peak periods.
- Collaborate with supervisors to tailor assignments based on individual skills and geographic location.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in credentialing and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license is mandatory.
- Minimum of three years post-COVID virtual school-based speech-language pathology experience.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices to engage students remotely.
- Ability to work a full 35-hour week on Eastern Standard Time (EST) schedule.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective caseload management and collaboration.
Location:
- Remote work supporting schools in the Rockville, MD, and Washington, DC areas.
- Candidates must reside within the EST zone for eligibility.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of state-mandated background checks.
- Submission of a current resume, images of licensure, and professional references for credentialing purposes.
- Participation in internal prescreening interviews conducted by the staffing team.
This opportunity allows for professional growth in a dynamic virtual educational environment. Candidates with the required qualifications and interest in telepractice are encouraged to apply promptly to begin a contract starting in August 2026 through June 2027.
Compensation for this position ranges from $34.00 to $50.00. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
