Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services, focused on supporting a middle school setting in Hoopeston, IL. This role requires delivering remote speech-language pathology services to students, primarily within a middle school environment, with some responsibilities extending to a nearby high school and a PreK-5 school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide teletherapy speech-language services to students in grades 7 and 8.
  • Offer support to high school students (grades 9-12) and assist in a PreK-5 educational setting.
  • Manage caseloads effectively to address diverse speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate remotely with educational staff and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience delivering teletherapy or telespeech services in an educational context.
  • Proven ability to adapt therapy techniques for remote delivery.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff remotely.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different school levels.

Contract Details:

  • Starting as soon as possible with an end date of May 27, 2025.
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week.
  • Primarily based in a 7th and 8th grade middle school building.
  • Remote therapy services provided to additional educational levels.
