Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist serving K-12 students in Hemet, CA. This contract position involves working onsite, providing direct services to school-age children within an educational setting. The role focuses on delivering speech and language therapy to support students' communication development, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy approaches as needed.

Working hours consist of 7.5-hour days with a half-hour unpaid lunch break. The caseload encompasses a diverse range of pediatric speech and language needs across the full K-12 spectrum.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or current experience as a licensed clinician
  • Professional experience in school-based speech therapy environments
  • Skill in providing teletherapy services and familiarity with telespeech methods
  • Comfort working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational contexts

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language impairments in students
  • Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support integrated communication strategies
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progressing reports
  • Utilizing teletherapy techniques effectively in addition to onsite sessions
