Speech-language professionals with expertise in telepractice services are needed to provide support within a school district setting in Georgia. This full-time contractor role focuses on delivering speech and language therapy through virtual platforms, with the potential for some onsite services, serving students across various age groups and grade levels.
Location: Hamilton, GA
Assignment Dates: August 3, 2026 May 21, 2027 (including possible pre- and post-planning days)
Schedule: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, full-time commitment
Setting: School district environment, predominantly through teletherapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct direct speech and language therapy sessions with students using telepractice methods
- Collaborate through interviews to determine appropriate caseload placement based on age group preference and experience
- Maintain accurate and timely daily documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of a diverse student population via virtual platforms
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Valid Georgia educator certification for SLP services
- Proven experience in providing teletherapy or telespeech services within school settings
- Strong organizational skills and ability to document services and maintain detailed logs
