An opportunity is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists specializing in teletherapy to provide remote speech-language services within a dynamic school-based setting. This contract position focuses on virtual speech-language pathology, serving school-aged children within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech-language pathology services to students ranging from elementary through middle school age.
- Manage caseloads aligned with experience, from approximately 40 to 57 students at peak times, ensuring individualized and effective care.
- Collaborate with supervisors to tailor assignments based on professional strengths and geographic considerations.
- Maintain compliance with school district policies and regulations while working remotely.
- Participate in credentialing processes and communication with administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech Language Pathologist licensure is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-COVID experience in virtual, school-based speech therapy.
- Demonstrated expertise in telespeech or teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week within the EST zone.
- Compliance with state requirements, including background checks.
- Submission of current resume, licensure documentation, and professional references is mandatory.
Location and Schedule:
- Remote teletherapy services supporting students primarily in the Rockville, MD, and Washington DC area.
- Contract duration: August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
- Full-time, 35 hours per week, no part-time options.
