A full-time contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy to support middle and high school students from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. This role involves providing speech-language services in a virtual or hybrid setting, ensuring compliance with educational requirements and delivering high-quality care.
Location: Fortson, GA (with assignments in Columbus, GA) Duration: August 3, 2026 May 21, 2027 (including potential pre- and post-planning days) Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions to address speech and language needs of middle and high school students
- Schedule and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Prepare all required documentation and paperwork associated with IEP meetings and student progress
- Maintain daily logs accurately documenting speech therapy services delivered
- Collaborate effectively with school staff and families regarding student progress and needs
Qualifications and experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Valid Georgia Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated experience delivering teletherapy services within a school setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills for managing caseload documentation and coordinating with educational teams
- Comfort in working with middle and high school student populations
