Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide teletherapy services within a school setting in Columbus, GA. This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with possible additional days for pre- and post-planning. Services will be delivered primarily to middle and high school students.
Key responsibilities include scheduling and attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, preparing the required documentation, and maintaining daily logs to document therapy services rendered. The caseload will be discussed during the interview process as it has not yet been finalized by the district.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Georgia Educator Certification for SLPs
- Experience providing virtual speech therapy services within school environments
Operating hours require a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. This role demands a strong ability to manage documentation and participate actively in IEP meetings in compliance with district requirements.
Location: Columbus, GA (Muscogee County School District)
