Job Description
A virtual speech-language pathologist position is available on a part-time contract basis, providing services 2-3 days per week to a high school caseload. This role involves delivering teletherapy services within a school setting, requiring proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy modalities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations virtually for students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing teletherapy sessions to support students in achieving communication goals.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational context.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services and progress.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Demonstrated experience providing speech-language therapy in school environments.
- Proven ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with virtual platforms used for telespeech services.
Location: This contract position supports a high school caseload in Flint, MI, with all services delivered remotely.
