Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with proficiency in teletherapy and on-site therapy services, serving educational settings in the Dixfield, ME area. The role involves working within school environments, supporting pediatric populations through individualized speech and language interventions. This opportunity is suited for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, or those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) experienced in school or healthcare settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid ME SLP license or relevant certifications
  • Experience providing teletherapy and direct onsite therapy to pediatric clients
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy models and caseload management
  • Knowledge of healthcare and educational speech therapy protocols
  • Ability to supervise and mentor CFY clinicians if applicable
  • Experience with IEP systems and documentation preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services utilizing teletherapy platforms and in-person sessions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to optimize communication outcomes

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
  • Provide supervision to CFY clinicians or assistants as required
