A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy support to students across various grade levels, including kindergarten through 12th grade. The position is located in Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive telespeech therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders using virtual platforms.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Utilize technology effectively to engage students and maintain consistent therapy sessions remotely.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or licensure appropriate for school-based practice.
- Experience delivering telespeech services in an educational environment.
- Comfort working with a diverse student population across multiple grade bands: K-5, 6-8, 9-12.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage case loads independently while maintaining accuracy in therapy documentation.
