Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity specializing in teletherapy within a dynamic school district environment. This contract role based in Dallas, TX, offers a fast-paced caseload primarily focused on serving students through telespeech services. This position demands strong organizational skills, including maintaining weekly time logs for approval to ensure accurate time management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language pathology services to students.
- Manage a high-volume caseload, typically assigned to one or sometimes two schools.
- Maintain detailed records of service delivery and weekly timesheets for administrative approval.
- Collaborate effectively using ESPED or similar IEP management systems.
- Adapt quickly to the dynamic needs of the district, ensuring all regulatory and licensure requirements are met.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Proven experience with virtual SLP service delivery and teletherapy platforms.
- Familiarity with special education documentation and IEP systems, particularly ESPED.
- Ability to work independently managing multi-school assignments and high caseloads.
Location:
- Remote work setup servicing schools such as Desoto High, Woodridge Elementary, Frank Moats Elementary, Amber Terrace Early Childhood, and Meadows Elementary in the Dallas, TX area.
Contract Details:
- Full-time schedule approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration through May 21, 2027.
- Strict timekeeping required with no paid breaks or downtime.
