Providing specialized speech-language support through telespeech and in-person services, this role offers an opportunity to deliver essential SLP interventions within a part-time school setting in Crete, Illinois. The position supports students under the guidance of an LBS1-certified special education license holder, ensuring compliance with state educational standards and individualized learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telepractice and direct speech-language therapy sessions to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes conducted via Zoom.
- Comply with district requirements, including obtaining necessary fingerprint clearances prior to starting.
- Engage in any provided training to align with district protocols and therapeutic approaches.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license appropriate for school-based practice.
- Special Education certification (LBS1) preferred.
- Experience delivering both telespeech and in-school therapy services.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a part-time schedule.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support interdisciplinary teams.
