Job Description

A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide teletherapy services to K-12 students in Corpus Christi, TX. This contract role requires delivering high-quality speech and language support remotely throughout the academic year, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver virtual speech-language pathology evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring to students in grades K-12.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to engage students and address individualized education plan (IEP) goals.
  • Document session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports according to district and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student communication development.
  • Maintain compliance with Texas licensure requirements and adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
  • Experience in teletherapy or telespeech services within educational settings.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language treatment strategies for school-aged children.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills suited for virtual service delivery.
  • Ability to work independently while managing caseloads and documentation remotely.

Additional Information:

  • Contract duration: Immediate start with an expected end date of May 28, 2026.
  • Location: Fully remote service delivery to students in Corpus Christi, TX area.
  • Caseload and number of schools assigned to be determined.
  • Role funded under a board-approved contract.
