Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract role supporting middle and high school students through both onsite and teletherapy services in Columbus, GA. This opportunity spans the school year from August 3rd, 2026, to May 21st, 2027, with potential additional days for pre- and post-planning.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload primarily covering middle and high school students, scheduling and attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and preparing related documentation. The role requires diligent maintenance of daily logs to document therapy services provided. This position offers a blend of virtual and in-person service delivery based on the candidate's experience.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Georgia Educator Certification for Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Proven experience delivering teletherapy services within a school environment
  • Ability to organize and manage IEP meetings with associated paperwork
  • Comfort with completing daily service logs for documentation

Work hours are full-time, with a minimum of 37.5 hours weekly. Caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview, as they vary year to year.
