Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in both telespeech services and in-school support. This position is located in Chicago, IL, and involves providing part-time services within a single school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy through both virtual (telespeech) and in-person sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators and special education teams to support students' communication needs.
  • Maintain caseload documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines.
  • Comply with all state licensing requirements and school district protocols, including obtaining necessary supervision as required by the LBS1SPED license.
  • Participate in interview and onboarding processes conducted remotely via Zoom.
  • Complete any mandatory training and background checks prior to starting the contract.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with an LBS1SPED endorsement.
  • Experience working within school environments providing both teletherapy and in-person speech services.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload while maintaining organizational compliance.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families.
  • Willingness to complete remote interviews and onboarding procedures promptly.
