A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school setting in Canton, MI. This role requires delivering remote speech therapy to students, addressing communication disorders through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations via telepractice.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy sessions remotely, focusing on articulation, language development, and fluency.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies and regulations regarding therapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience delivering telespeech or telepractice speech-language services.
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and remote assessment tools.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in school-age children.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students in a virtual setting.
