Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This role supports students across a broad grade range, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, including elementary, middle, and high school levels. Strong communication skills and proficiency in telespeech technology are essential to deliver effective remote therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments and intervention sessions via telepractice platforms.
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and communication goals.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with educational and legal standards.
  • Providing resources and guidance to families to support speech development at home.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with students in grades K-12, with an emphasis on middle and high school populations preferred.
  • Familiarity and comfort with telepractice technologies and virtual service delivery.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, and families effectively.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently and adapt to varying student needs.
