Job Description
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This contract role involves providing therapeutic support across a broad range of grade levels, including elementary (K5 and grades 68), middle school, and high school students.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting virtual speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within educational plans
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Participating in virtual meetings with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining compliance with institutional policies and professional standards for telespeech services
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering telespeech therapy, especially in diverse educational settings
- Ability to support a wide age range, from kindergarten through high school
- Strong communication and organizational skills for remote work
- Familiarity with virtual platforms suitable for speech therapy delivery
