A contract speech-language pathologist position is available providing 10 hours per week of itinerant teletherapy services for students in grades 6-12. This role focuses primarily on language and articulation therapy within a school setting. The caseload model is utilized to ensure targeted, individualized interventions.
Essential responsibilities include delivering telepractice therapy sessions to address students' speech and language needs, collaborating with educational staff to support student progress, and documenting therapy outcomes through the districts IEP system. Training on the IEP process is provided, and dedicated virtual therapy spaces support effective service delivery.
Key qualifications and experience sought:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience delivering school-based speech therapy services, especially via teletherapy
- Familiarity with language and articulation disorders in the adolescent population
- Ability to work effectively in an itinerant role, managing caseload and travel commitments
- Competence in using digital platforms and telepractice tools in a school environment
Location: This position offers service delivery to students in the St. Paul, MN area, primarily through teletherapy, with some paid travel as required.
