A virtual speech-language pathologist position is available to provide teletherapy services to K-12 students with disabilities in a special education setting. This part-time contract role involves delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings, conducting evaluations and progress monitoring, and maintaining documentation compliant with Pennsylvania and federal regulations. The schedule includes approximately 21 hours per week across three days, aligning with the school calendar through mid-2026.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist license
- Pennsylvania Department of Education credential
- Minimum of 1 year of prior school-based teletherapy experience delivering SLP services within Pennsylvania virtual settings
- Proven ability to implement speech and language interventions effectively via telepractice
- Strong skills in evaluation, progress monitoring, and IEP collaboration in compliance with state and federal requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Providing virtual speech-language pathology services tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Developing and updating IEP goals and documentation consistent with relevant regulations
- Utilizing technology platforms adeptly to ensure engaging and effective teletherapy
- Monitoring and documenting student outcomes clearly and accurately
