Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This role supports students across a broad range of grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). The opportunity is located in Bernalillo, NM, offering the chance to provide remote speech therapy to diverse learners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language pathology services via telespeech platforms to students with speech and language needs.
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's communication goals.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes in accordance with school guidelines.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to support plans for students academic success.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/licensure appropriate for school-based practice.
  • Experience working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in various school environments.
  • Proficient in telespeech technology and remote therapy delivery methods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Familiarity with educational standards and individualized education program (IEP) processes.
