Job Description

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy services within K-12 schools. This role supports students through virtual speech-language intervention, providing remote therapy sessions designed to improve communication skills.

Location: Battle Creek, MI
Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 10, 2027
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to K-12 students adhering to established treatment plans
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders via telespeech platforms
  • Maintain accurate documentation and student progress records in compliance with district and licensing requirements
  • Collaborate virtually with educators, families, and support staff to enhance therapeutic outcomes
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to tailor therapy to student needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Valid Michigan state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (license verification required upon application)
  • Experience delivering speech therapy through teletherapy platforms in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of K-12 speech-language needs and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students effectively in a virtual environment
