A professional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This role involves delivering remote speech therapy to students across a range of grade levels including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations remotely to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
- Provide therapy sessions using telespeech technology to facilitate communication skills development
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes in compliance with school policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with telepractice methodologies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Proficiency in telespeech delivery methods and related technology platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills geared toward virtual interaction
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for remote learning environments
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with varying speech and language needs
Location:
- Position is based in Aztec, NM and services will be delivered virtually through telespeech sessions.
