Job Description

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through telespeech methods for a high school student in Auburn, Maine. This part-time contract role involves delivering tailored therapy to a 15-year-old learner, focusing on enhancing communication skills within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech therapy sessions remotely utilizing telepractice platforms.
  • Collaborate with the student's IEP team to align therapy goals with educational objectives.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records according to state guidelines.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and provide professional insights during IEP reviews.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
  • Current Maine State license to practice speech-language pathology.
  • PROMPT certification is mandatory to support specialized intervention techniques.
  • Familiarity with telespeech service delivery and remote therapy best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
  • Experience working with adolescent students in a school environment preferred.

Contract Details:

  • Position based in Auburn, ME, servicing one high school student.
  • Part-time hours, approximately 45 minutes per week.
  • Start date as soon as possible; contract duration to be determined by IEP team.
  • Interview process conducted via Zoom with timely scheduling.
