Job Description
A part-time position is available for a Virtual School-Based Speech Language Pathologist providing teletherapy services to K-12 students with disabilities in a special education setting. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, conducting evaluations and progress monitoring, and maintaining documentation in compliance with Pennsylvania and federal regulations. Experience in virtual school environments is essential.
Location:
- Allentown, PA (remote teletherapy services aligned with local school calendar)
Schedule and Duration:
- Part-time, approximately 21 hours per week (3 days per week)
- Contract through June 12, 2026 (tentative, aligned with school calendar)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy services to K-12 students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate in the development and review of IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and ongoing progress monitoring
- Ensure documentation meets compliance standards according to state and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
- Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) credential (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of school-based virtual teletherapy SLP experience in Pennsylvania
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention techniques
- Effective communication skills for working virtually with students, families, and educational teams
This remote teletherapy role offers the opportunity to impact students educational experiences within a flexible schedule across the school year.
