A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized telespeech services in a school setting in Allendale, MI. This role involves delivering teletherapy support to a single student enrolled in an alternative high school who is on track to graduate, likely by December.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 15 to 40 minutes of SLP services, 1 to 4 times per month, as outlined in the students Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Participating in the scheduled IEP meeting on September 30 at 8:30 am.
• Supporting the students communication development to meet graduation requirements, including completing 2.5 credits in the first trimester.
• Utilizing teletherapy techniques to engage and support the student remotely in alignment with school standards and goals.

Qualifications sought:

• Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience in vocational SLP services preferred.
• Proficiency in teletherapy and telespeech delivery.
• Knowledge of school-based IEP processes and systems.
• Ability to work effectively within an itinerant role.

Additional details:

• Position requires approximately 4 hours per week.
• Contract length is immediate start through the students anticipated graduation.
