Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 26/27 school year, serving students from kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract role requires an engaging professional to manage a caseload of 50-60 students, providing telespeech and in-person services within a school setting. The position offers a 35-hour workweek and is based in Algonac, MI.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering speech therapy services.
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilizing telepractice methodologies alongside traditional therapy to meet student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (MI SLP license) is required.
  • Experience working with children in school environments, particularly grades K-6.
  • Proficiency in both teletherapy and direct speech therapy delivery.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
