Job Description

A specialized role is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telespeech services. This contract position supports students across various educational levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services remotely via telespeech platforms.
  • Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and participation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines.
  • Utilize teletherapy tools effectively to engage students and ensure therapy goals are met.
  • Adapt strategies to accommodate different age groups and developmental stages from early childhood through adolescence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid SLP license with telespeech experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to provide remote therapy services within school settings.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and special education regulations.

Location: This contract position is based in Albuquerque, NM, with remote telespeech service delivery.
