Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This role supports students across various grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). The primary focus is delivering speech-language therapy remotely to enhance students communication skills effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting telespeech assessments and providing individualized therapy sessions tailored to students needs.
  • Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement speech-language goals aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans to maximize student outcomes.
  • Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or licensure as required by state guidelines.
  • Prior experience providing speech-language therapy, ideally in school-based or telespeech settings.
  • Familiarity with supporting a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
