Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting located in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves delivering remote speech and language therapy to students across a variety of grade levels, including elementary through high school.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and screenings to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Providing individualized telespeech therapy sessions to support students' communication development.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress in accordance with educational and clinical standards.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in telespeech or teletherapy services within school settings.
- Ability to work effectively with students in grades K-12, including elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Strong communication and organizational skills applicable to remote service delivery.
- Familiarity with educational protocols and IEP processes.
