Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices in school-based therapy
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students exhibiting speech, language, or communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in accordance with IEPs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required by school and state guidelines
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Foster a positive, engaging, and productive experience for every student
