Skills and Credentials:

• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience supporting students in early childhood through high school settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments and assist with eligibility determinations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student success
• Offer guidance and resources to families and staff to support student progress
• Stay updated on best practices within school-based speech-language pathology
