Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are considered
- Experience or strong interest in school settings and pediatric populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students during the school day, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development for students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
