Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active SLP license in Florida
• Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with educators and parents
• Knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
• Ability to conduct student assessments and provide tailored speech/language therapy

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, individually and in small groups
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech or language disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to promote student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
