Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs will be considered
- Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents with a range of communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy services and support generalization of skills in various school settings
- Engage in professional development to remain current with evidence-based practices
