Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current license or eligibility for SLP licensure in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Experience in school or pediatric settings desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students, providing strategies for generalization of skills in the educational environment
