Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and progress monitoring
- Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as required
- Foster inclusive learning environments and facilitate communication opportunities for all students
- Engage in ongoing assessment and adapt strategies to ensure student progress
