Job Description

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver engaging therapy sessions
  • Comfort with collaboration in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine students needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and building-wide initiatives
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of services and outcomes
