Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Experience in pediatric settings is a plus, but those eager to develop this specialty are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working seamlessly with educators, families, and fellow therapists
- Willingness to work full time during the academic year
- Open to applicants with CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is preferred, but training will be provided
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to school-aged children
- Develop tailored intervention plans to support individualized student progress
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff members
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain cutting-edge therapy practices
- Adapt therapy delivery methods as needed, including both in-person and teletherapy options
