Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist role is available for the 2025-2026 school year, with full-time or part-time options. This position primarily serves K6th grade students, with a focus on providing speech therapy to those in pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. The caseload will be capped at no more than 50 students, ensuring manageable workloads and the ability to provide quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech language pathology services tailored to individual student needs within the school setting
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students communication goals
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Utilize teletherapy services when applicable to enhance accessibility
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • ESA certification required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
  • Knowledge and skills relevant to school-based speech therapy, including counseling students from K-6th grade
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students effectively
  • Familiarity with teletherapy techniques is a plus
