Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist role is available for the 2025-2026 school year, with full-time or part-time options. This position primarily serves K6th grade students, with a focus on providing speech therapy to those in pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. The caseload will be capped at no more than 50 students, ensuring manageable workloads and the ability to provide quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech language pathology services tailored to individual student needs within the school setting
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize teletherapy services when applicable to enhance accessibility
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ESA certification required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Knowledge and skills relevant to school-based speech therapy, including counseling students from K-6th grade
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students effectively
- Familiarity with teletherapy techniques is a plus
