What makes you a great fit:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Washington SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong clinical fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individual education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Deliver individual and small group therapy sessions
- Consult with educators and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and team planning
- Serve as a resource for classroom teachers regarding speech and language development
