Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents as a contract speech-language pathologist working within local educational settings. This role presents the chance to collaborate with diverse student populations across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering specialized support designed to empower students communication skills and academic success.
What were seeking:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
Experience working with pediatric populations
Familiarity with various age groups: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School
Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for a broad spectrum of speech and language disorders
Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Key responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify strengths and areas of need
Develop and monitor IEP goals, maintain progress documentation, and participate in meetings
Implement evidence-based strategies tailored to each students unique needs
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and progress
Provide resources and training for teachers and families to support student communication outside therapy sessions
