Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active WA SLP License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • WA Teaching Certificate may be needed
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to high school students
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape students educational experiences
