Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington (or willingness to obtain)
  • Completion of WA ESA certification (or plan to obtain)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience or interest in working in K-12 educational environments
  • Fingerprinting through OSPI, or willingness to complete this process
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Commitment to on-site service during the 2026-2027 school year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, focusing on individual development plans and IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements
  • Communicate clearly with students, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on program planning
  • Stay current with best practices and professional standards in educational speech therapy
