Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current or eligible SLP license in Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- School-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting school-aged children in achieving communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide direct intervention through individual and group therapy sessions
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
